Acts Chapter 7 verse 32 and 33 reading from the New International Version this is God speaking, “I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, Moses, trembled with fear and did not dare look and then the Lord said to him – take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” Take off your self-confidence. Take off your confidence in your own capacity, and confidence in your own giftedness, your intelligence, your economic power, your status; confidence in the fact that you were successful before, take off your sandals. Because the place where you’re standing now, He says, is holy ground. Where you are right now is different, you are in a sacred place. It’s no place for self, no place for personal strength. Take off your sandals for the place where you are standing is holy ground. And so we want to take off our sandals, right? Because where you are standing right now, governments falling apart, chaos in the earth, and nations fragmenting and the hearts of men rotting all around us – the place where you are standing is holy ground. Amen? So let’s stand in that holy ground. Fathers lead your families to stand in that holy ground. Mothers lead your children to stand in that holy ground. Let’s go and stand together in the holy ground of the Lord. Take off your sandals, the place where you are standing is holy ground.
