Album: Hear Our Prayer – Salvation

This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.  This is the day. We rejoice in it, Amen, because He is good. Lift your hands unto God, like our Fathers taught us, said lift up your holy hands unto the Lord.  Ancients who walk with God for many, many, many centuries ago, the days when God was coming down and instructing His prophets and teaching people and every human race use to the sound of the voice of God and God was moving in our hearts and establishing deep principles.  Moving in the lives of ancients, of fathers, who had laid down tracks that we all walk on securely today. Here is what the fathers said, lift up your holy hands unto the Lord.  It must be significant, it must be powerful, it must mean something – not just a religious act or something you do in church. It must have deep spiritual significance for God to tell mortals living in broken time that they should lift up holy hands unto the Lord.

And so, Father whatever this signifies or means, way beyond our understanding, our capacity to comprehend, way beyond what we know, deep into the mystery of that relationship between a God, a Creator, a Father who sits above all things, above time, who inhabits eternity forever and His children, His created beings that came out of Him, that He birthed into the earth living in time and suffering and death, whatever it means to lift up our holy hands we offer that to You today.

We have come to worship You, we have come to honour You, we have come to remind ourselves of the beauty and the power of the salvation that lives inside of our hearts and inside of our minds.  We bless you Lord, we lift You up and honour You, we bless Your holy name. Hallelujah.

Begin to just declare to God your worship, the honoring of Him.  I worship You means I correct myself; I worship You, means I adjust myself; I worship You means the Spirit of God is making incremental adjustments towards the nature of Christ on the inside of me.  I worship You means I am in a state of change.  I will never go back to what I was yesterday.  I bless You, that means the beauty of Your Spirit is coming forth, praise erupting out of you, genuine compassion and mercy is clothing your inner man.  I worship you.  We lift You up and honour You, we bless Your holy name. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
